Journalists Under Attack

In October of 2023 for my feature focus assignment at Seneca Polytechnic I spoke with CBC journalist Rahma Shafi on the issue towards female journalists being seen as targets within the media world. She shares her personal input and ways to overcome the obstacles upcoming female journalist fear to face.

Why DidiHood?

In December of 2022, for my second feature focus assignment at Seneca Polytechnic, I spoke to CBC journalist and co-founder of Didihood Arti Patel about the challenges and the journey she faced as a South Asian female entering the media world. She shares her goals behind Didihood and why creating a space to build connections amongst other South-Asian females is so important.

Tipping in Toronto

In 2023, my group and I created a documentary discussing the idea of tipping culture. Not only did we look at the culture within Toronto, Ontario, but also in other major cities such as Vancouver and London. After thorough research and interviews we've come to the conclusion that the tipping culture in Canada and in Europe are complete opposites and that the tipping culture for Canadians is becoming more complex. My roles for this project were interviewing, and writing the scripts.
